Jim has a BA from the University of Arkansas, an MA in Art History from the University of Delaware, and an MBA from TCU. He loves to travel, read, hike, bike, and cook for friends. With his partner of 20 years, he collects American and Latin American folk art, a passion that evolved during his tenure as a Curator at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. He is also proud of his 5-years as executive director of Visual Aid in San Francisco, an organization that helps visual artists with health crises continue to pursue their passion. For the last 9 years, Jim has been a sponsor of Film Night in the Park, organized by the San Francisco Neighborhood Theater Foundation, which shows movies free to the public in Dolores Park, Union Square, and Washington Square Park, Jim's neighborhood park. The greatest joy shared by Jim and his partner, Eric, is their 6-year-old son, Eli, who just started kindergarten and makes every day beyond special!
